Chili in the Air

Simply Fabulous
by Darlene Bailey

Praise the Lord cooler weather is on the way.  My schedule has been  filled with outdoor weddings this summer and I have never sweated so much in all  my life.

Do you know how hard it is to keep a wedding cake from melting  slap off the table?  Pretty difficult...just sayin.

With the chill of fall air on the way, I thought we would ease into the season with a multi-purpose Chili  recipe.

This quick and easy recipe can be used to make  mean chili cheese fries, great chili nacho's, the best chili dog. The best part, it freezes well too!

Quick Chili
1 lb. ground beef (brown and  drain)
                                                             1 med.  onion (chopped)
                                                      1 pk. McCormick Chili Seasoning
                                                              1 can diced  tomatoes
                                                                 1 can chili  beans

Brown  beef and onions together.
Pour into deep pot  and add rest of ingredients.
On low heat  simmer with lid on for 15-20 minutes.
Let stand 15 minutes salt and pepper to  taste for  flavor's to blend before serving.

Whatever you choose it, I promise it  will be yummy in your tummy.

Fall into the kitchen with me and Let's Get Cookin’.
